After a full day of keynotes, panels and breakouts, you may feel like collapsing in your hotel room—but first, make sure to join us at the Cocktail Reception on Thursday, January 24, located in the Atrium. It’s your chance to eat, drink and be merry, while mingling with other attendees, speakers and Summit sponsors.
We've just added a new panel to the program. At 12:30 on Thursday, January 24, Luke Hohmann will moderate a panel on how Serious Games are used in the design process.
Luke, and the panelists (to be announced early next week) will discuss how modern organizations, whether large or small, must address a variety of complex factors when designing products and services. From reducing time to market, responding to change, integrating users, flexible business models, global markets -- and more -- the list can seem endless. Several movements have emerged to help corporations in this process, including Agile, Lean Startups, Lean UX, co-design, and Innovation Games. The panelists will explore how these movements affect design, with an emphasis on how Innovation Games and other serious games are used in design.
What goes better with breakfast than lean startups? BigVisible's David Luzquiños will be hosting a discussion Friday, January 25 from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM on how Eric Ries' Lean Startup principles aren't just applicable to startups, but can and do work in the enterprise as well. David will discuss what lean startup in the enterprise is, how it works, and how agile principles and practices can help you quickly test and validate your hypotheses and gather customer feedback.
